## RemexHtml 5.1.0 (2025-08-14)
* Further bug-fixes for PHP 8.4 Dom\Document.
  - It is recommended to set `suppressHtmlNamespace=true` for
    DOMBuilder if you are using the old `\DOMImplementation`, and set
    `suppressHtmlNamespace=false` for the new PHP 8.4
    \Dom\Implementation.
  - This will be the default in the next major release; in this
    release the existing default has remained unchanged
    (`suppressHtmlNamespace` always defaults to `false`), but beware
    that with `suppressHtmlNamespace=false` and `\DOMImplementation`,
    tags like `<mw:section>` will not be parsed consistent with the
    HTML spec, since `\DOMImplementation` makes it impossible to
    create a tag with the HTML namespace and with a colon in the tag
    name.  We've elected to preserve the correct prefix (`null`) and
    local name (`mw:section`) but omit the HTML namespace in this
    situation.
* New class `Wikimedia\RemexHtml\DOM\DOMFragmentBuilder` to facilitate
  building a `DocumentFragment` with a pre-existing `Document`.
* Drop support for PHP < 8.1.

## RemexHtml 5.0.0 (2025-06-04)
* Bug fixes for PHP 8.4 Dom\Document compatibility.
* New options and defaults for DOMBuilder:
  - 'domImplementationClass' defaults to \Dom\Implementation on PHP 8.4.
    This is a change from prior versions, which always defaulted to
    \DOMImplementation.
  - 'coercionWorkaround' selects the workaround for
    element/attribute/doctype character set mismatches between the
    HTML parser spec and the DOM spec.  Defaults to 'coerce' on PHP < 8.4,
    which matches the previous default.  When using
    \Dom\Implementation on PHP 8.4, defaults to using the PHP 8.4 HTML
    parser to avoid coercion.
* The method signature for the DOMFormatter class has changed.
* HTMLData properties were converted to constants in the previous
  release; the compatibility properties have now been dropped.
* HTMLData::TAGS has been added to make HTML tag properties (the set
  of void, raw text, and "line feed inserting" tags) generally available.

## RemexHtml 4.1.2 (2025-04-23)
* Turn off "lazy attribute" creation in Tokenizer by default in order
  to eliminate a memory hotspot.  Add 'lazyAttributes' option to
  Tokenizer which is false by default.  In use cases where most
  attributes are not queried, performance can be improved at the cost
  of additional memory usage by passing `"lazyAttributes"=>true` in
  the options provided to the Tokenizer.
